Imagine Currituck was built to get ahead of that challenge, drawing on one of DbD’s most extensive public engagement efforts, over 1,750 survey responses, 15 focus groups, and seven public workshops, to ensure the county’s 2040 vision reflected genuine resident priorities for managing development.
