
DbD was tasked with putting MOmentum Bike Park on the map as the largest bike park of its kind in Missouri. The work centered on a multi-channel promotional campaign for the park’s Grand Launch Party, supported by influencer partnerships and paid media.
Grand Launch
The campaign generated public excitement and awareness about the grand opening event, and helped introduce the park as a regional destination for recreational and competitive cycling.
Designed as both a community celebration and a destination-focused launch, the event included organized races, skills workshops, BMX stunt show, and group rides. The event drew more than 1,900 attendees who explored MOmentum’s 98 acres of purpose-built trails, pump track, and skills features.






Multi-Channel Event Marketing
Paid Meta advertising promoted the Grand Launch Party to local and surrounding audiences, generating 2,018 landing page views and 415 Facebook event responses. Through influencer partnerships, we extended the campaign’s reach across the cycling community and showcased the park experience through social media content that generated nearly 20,000 views.
The campaign also had a significant impact on tourism during the Grand Launch weekend, contributing to an 80-85% hotel occupancy rate–well above local benchmarks. Attendees came from across Joplin, surrounding Missouri communities, and neighboring Arkansas areas, reflecting strong local and regional draw.

Following the success of the Grand Launch Party campaign, Destination by Design will continue working to implement a plan focused on paid and organic social media, influencer marketing, and other promotional support for upcoming events and competitions, including the Pump Track World Qualifier Event, with the goal of building regional and national awareness of MOmentum Bike Park.
