Reporting Manager: Director of Communications & Place Branding
The Graphic Designer provides print and digital graphic design support to each area of our firm: planning, design, communications and internal marketing. In addition, this position offers assistance for branding and web projects. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, yet willing to take direction, and offer creative design solutions to execute ideas with a team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provides essential graphics support on client projects within brand development, illustration, video production, web design, and photography.
- Creates eye-catching, multi-page, editorial layouts including planning documents and job proposals.
- Provides assistance to the Landscape Design team on maps, signage, illustrations, schematics and/or info-graphics
- Assists with internal marketing and branding tasks for web, social media, email, print collateral.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design is required
- 2-5 years professional experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating editorial, branding, and art direction for print and digital
- Experience in Adobe and. Some experience with, or willingness to quickly learn Figma and WordPress.
- Willingness to learn and develop new design skills.
- Interest in community development, and/or place-based economic development is a plus!
