Reporting Managers: Senior Art Director & Graphic / Web Designer

Responsibilities and Duties

Supports art director and graphic designers on client projects within brand development, illustration, and photography.
Creates eye-catching multi-page, editorial layouts including planning documents and project proposals.
Provides assistance to the Landscape Design team on maps, signage, illustrations, schematics and/or info-graphics.
Assists with internal marketing and branding tasks for social media, email, presentations, and print collateral.
Maintains organization with project file management.

Qualifications

Pursing a degree in graphic design or adjacent
Availability to work up to 20 hours per week
Available to work onsite in our office located in Boone, NC OR hybrid if desired.
A functional understanding of basic design theory and principles.
Strong portfolio demonstrating editorial, branding, and art direction for print and digital.
Experience in various applications in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
Willingness to learn and develop new design skills.
Interest in community development, and/or place-based economic development is a plus!
